According to the article, the leader of the Vietnamese Party believes that free-market capitalism cannot solve all problems, and in many cases it can seriously harm poor countries, and aggravates the contradiction between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie in worldwide. Today’s freedom and democracy have not been able to ensure that real power belongs to the people and works for their interests.

The article states that the book highlights the tasks of the CPV and the Vietnamese people on the road to building socialism, focusing on accelerating industrialization and modernization based on the knowledge economy, developing socialist-oriented market economy, promoting cultural and human development, improving living standards, ensuring social progress and justice, protecting national defense-security.
